Harold F. Hains III founded Renew Foundation USA, Inc. in February 2023 as a way to give back to society after having spent 32 years incarcerated within the Illinois Criminal Justice System.

It is the intent of Renew Foundation USA, Inc. to try and consolidate all resources and strategies of nation-wide criminal justice reform organizations so as to effectively make changes at both the state and federal levels. This is not to say that these other organizations are not making small changes in and of themselves, but imagine if they could all come together and work in unison like fingers on a hand.
